Graduate Technician 

As an award winning RIBA Chartered Practice, Tsiantar Architects Ltd have an exciting opportunity for a Graduate Technician

The role will include:

Conducting and producing accurate 'as existing' site and building surveys.

Working up scheme designs in preparation for planning approval including risk assessments and Design and Access Statements.

Contributing to the design, providing technical knowledge of materials and collating detailed design information.

Preparing drawings for Building Regulations applications.

Preparing detailed tender drawings including specifications for construction work through to construction details.

Liaising with clients, contractors and other consultants and professionals.

Ensuring continual compliance with design, legal, statutory and professional requirements.

Candidates will ideally need to demonstrate:

An interest/relevant experience on residential projects.

Previous practice experience in the UK.

A strong interest in new technology and innovative design solutions, and a keen eye for detail.

Preparing Planning applications and Statements.

A good understanding of UK Building Regulations.

A competent level of AutoCAD skills.

Have good organisational skills and an ability to work to deadlines.

A UK driving license and a car (on-site parking provided).

Ideally a CIAT membership.
