George Tsiantar now registered with the French Architects Board – 18/02/2011

George Tsiantar is now registered with l’Ordre des Architectes du Languedoc-Roussillon, which enables him to work on behalf of clients on any projects in any area of France.

George has long had close tie with France and speaks French fluently. Tsiantar Architects Limited has had extensive experience of working on projects in France for English clients however, prior to full registration, was only limited to single projects at any one time.
Having recently purchased a property in the Languedoc-Roussillon in the picturesque town of Aigues-Mortes, George has had first hand experience on the difficulties British people are faced with when purchasing, renovating or building a house in France.

As well as the obvious language barrier, you also have to negotiate your way through the French Administration, French Laws, French building regulations, construction jargons and all associated issue this can brings.

By registering with l’Ordre des Architectes, George has access to a vast array of expertise that will help him ensure that you will have a pleasant experience building or renovating your dream house in France.

About l’Ordre des Architectes

L’Ordre des Architectes, instituted by the law on Architecture of 3rd January 1977 (loi du 3 janvier 1977), is a private organisation with a mission of public service. Endowed with a moral personality and financial autonomy, it is placed under the guardianship of the Minister of Culture.

L’Ordre des Architectes is constituted of 29 000 Architects, recognised and in possession of documentations compliant with the conditions fixed by the law to exercise their profession: diploma, deontology, insurance, civil rights… The inscription to the order confers the right to exercise the profession and to carry the title of Architect.

L’Ordre des Architectes function is to preserve and promote quality in Architecture. The law on Architecture has completely refreshed the profession, with focus on a professional organisation, code of practice, and complaint procedure and interventions.
