The existing dormer bungalow will be demolished to make way for a large family home. The general style of the property will be traditional 'Arts and Craft' with extensive use of stone to create features and detail.

The existing dwelling was in a poor state of repair so is to be demolished to make way for these contemporary apartments. The site is surrounded by open countryside with The Bollin Valley lying to the north providing fabulous views. Work is to start shortly on-site on what is going to be a stunning development.

The house will be extended at the side to provide a large family kitchen and living area with a master bedroom suite above. At the rear a glass extension will create a garden room off the kitchen flooding the house with light. The house will then be updated and transformed externally to create a much more modern and contemporary looking property.

We are delighted to have gained planning permission for this stunning new property to be built in Wilmslow.
Currently a run down dormer bungalow, this will be replaced by a contemporary country house set in the rolling fields of the Cheshire countryside.

In terms of the layout, we will be taking out the wall and fireplace on both floors between the kitchen and the utility and then extending out this combined space in a single storey structure to create a large family dining kitchen. The garage to the side would be demolished and replaced with a new structure in its place housing a double garage at the front section and a playroom, wc and boot room at the back linked to the kitchen. The current dining room will become a study and the rear lounge a dining room.
At first floor, the two rooms sharing the removed chimney breast will become the master bedroom and en-suite and there will be 4 further bedrooms on this floor with a bathroom, utility and a further en-suite.
The loft conversion will involve a new central staircase and 2 large bedrooms each with en-suites.

This luxury property will have six bedrooms on the first and second floor levels and create a mix of living/reception and utility rooms within the ground floor. A detached triple garage will be built at the front of the house.
The proportions and features are directly reminiscent of the original Georgian Architecture using classical Doric columns, pilasters and details. The proportions of the columns, entablatures and cornices are also strictly in accordance with those of the classical Doric Order.
In terms of the materials the property will be built in a traditional pale buff brick which is predominant in the Cheshire area with sandstone features balanced against a grey/blue natural slate roof with lead featurework. The windows will all be timber painted white.

This new luxury property will comprise of four bedrooms, 3 with en-suite and also a family bathroom and a gym. It will be constructed with a mixture of a two facade treatment using buff sandstone for some feature elevations and render for others. The roof will be natural grey blue slate and the windows will be dark grey aluminium. There will be some feature finishes to the porch canopy such as Corten steel and zinc for some roof finishes and the roof of the garage will be in either grass or sedum.
There will be two balconies to the rear of the property at the first floor making the most of the fabulous views across the Cheshire countryside.

We are delighted to have obtained planning permission for this luxury new property situated in a prime residential location in Bowdon. The existing dwelling will be demolished to make way for what will be a stunning two and a half storey detached house.
The main reason for the construction of a new house is that the new owners wish to replace the existing dwelling with a more up to date home more suited to their current needs, and to be more environmentally efficient and sustainable. The thermal efficiency of the new house will be far superior to the current building.
The high quality of design will not only be apparent in the thermal efficiency of the construction but also in the choice of natural materials such as stone, slate and brick. The windows will be powder coated aluminium. Together with this is the contemporary design of the house and the particular detailing of the features and proportions.

The cottage is part a former smithy which will be extended to enhance the house providing better family living space at ground floor and a larger bedroom and en-suite at first floor. This new apartment development is to be built on the site of a former residential care home. Once demolished a three storey (with part roof level and lower ground floor level accommodation) apartment building is to be constructed, providing 8 apartments in total.
