The original orangery at the side of this property was removed and has now been replaced with a new structure with fully glazed sliding doors opening out onto the garden. The design is of a contemporary nature with a flat roof with level roof lights giving access for maintenance to the side of the house. The wall between the orangery and kitchen, and the kitchen and the rear play room has been removed to create a more open space and the kitchen moved towards the back of the house to give more of a view to the garden. The new side extension will become the formal as well as the everyday dining area, with plenty of space for the new kitchen to provide a breakfast bar. The previous dining area has now become a snug and play are for the children.
