DESCRIPTION

This project involved a single storey extension to a large Edwardian house to provide a new kitchen and dining area, utility room, study, snug and hall. The dining area is located under the vaulted octagonal roof above, and takes advantage of this spectacular feature. During design, a height restriction issue imposed by the first floor windows was resolved by introducing lantern lights into the flat lead roof.
