The previous property on this site was demolished and replaced with this new modern home that fitted our clients’ requirements and aspirations. The requirements were for 5 bedrooms, one of which would be a master suite with dressing room and en-suite, and with a balcony. They also wanted a further bedroom with en-suite, and then a family bathroom to service the remaining bedrooms. They also asked for a study on the first floor.

On the ground floor, there is a large entrance hall with a galleried landing and views through the house into the garden. There is a formal lounge/cinema room, a snug (that can be converted to a bedroom), a games room and then a large open plan family kitchen with dining area and seating area in the form of a garden room. This is to the north west side of the house to the rear overlooking the garden, and is laid out over several levels with a sunken seating area and direct access to the lower garden level. Also on the ground floor is a utility, boot room, dog room and downstairs cloaks (with a potential for a shower room in the future).
